Love Came Down

Some of the most mind-boggling revelations, ah-ha moments, or whatever you choose to call them tend to happen while I’m tossing and turning in bed. Last night, well actually more like this morning. 3:47am to be exact was no different. I was laying there listening to “Love Came Down” by Kari Jobe. I’ve sang the song 100 times, Angie Miller performed it on American Idol this season, I’ve even seen Fine Arts Human Videos to it. It’s one of my ALL TIME Favorites… but it wasn’t until last night that I really dissected the lyrics. I even pulled them up online to be sure of what they were saying.  I stopped and thought to myself , We sometimes get caught up in  just “singing” a song and loose track of what we’re really singing about.  It almost becomes a habit. For me, owning my own business has brought tons of Joy and smiles but it’s also brought inadequacy and Fear. I have really learned to trust God and exercise my Faith in Him and not just Say I have Faith. This song affirmed so much for me. It spoke to me. It was an “Ah-Ha” Moment. A “I’ve got this, Kiddo” moment.
