Today’s Favorite Thing is probably my MOST FAVORITE Thing of all time– a Gap gift card. $75.00 for you to spend anyway you choose.  If you know me, you know I’m a brand whore, Or at least that’s what my friends tell me. My umbrella is even Gap. I have been shopping at Gap for years. My parents even dressed me in Baby gap when I was a wee one.  Most recently I was offered a position at Gap for Visuals and Styling… I honestly didn’t need another job, Evan and Company keeps me more than busy but I just couldn’t pass up that discount. 😉  The promo pics I shot for Favorite Things, My entire outfit came from Gap even my socks and underwear. Ok, you didn’t need to know that, but It’s true. I’m telling you I’m Obsessed. Their Slim fit jeans are the best! I have 4 pairs. See, I LOVE The Gap and want to share it with you this Christmas.

Today’s FAVORITE THING is a pair of Tom’s. I LOVE my Tom’s. They’re so comfy– I wear them at least a couple of times a week. I was first introduced to Tom’s several years back just like the rest of the world. Blake’s mission and story behind developing Tom’s is what truly made me want a pair, not particularly the product. If you aren’t familiar with the Tom’s brand their mission is simple, One for One. For every pair of shoes bought, they send a pair to a child in another country. The few  years they have been in business, they have sent shoes to more than 60 different countries. Tom’s doesn’t only shoes, they recently launched a eyewear line and when you buy TOMS Eyewear, you’re helping restore sight. They have provided dozens and dozens of glasses to individuals in over 16 countries.

I hope that gives you a better reasoning as to why I chose Tom’s as one of my 2013 Favorite Things. If you want to find out more about their company, visit their website. Also check out Blake’s book, “Start Something That Matters”. It’s a great read!

I had someone ask and I wanted to clear the air, I will not be giving away a pair of my personal Tom’s. If you win, you will receive your very own pair in your size. 😉

I get so excited posting something new each day! It’s SO FUN! Can it be Favorite Things all year long? If you missed out on the previous days No Worries, there is still time to enter. Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

Today’s Favorite Thing is a weakness of mine, Seriously. I could eat myself sick. If you know me, you already know OREOS are my FAVORITE cookie of all time. BUT, Chocolate Covered Oreos are a MUST around the holiday season. And, well all year long. 😉 For about 7 years I’ve been receiving them in a gift basket from a family friend and it’s my favorite part. Forget the cashmere sweater I got Last year, I went straight for the Oreos.

#EGCStyle Holiday Must Have

Living in Alabama the weather is hit or miss around the holidays. One day it could be freezing and the next day you could be running around town in flip flops. And for this very reason it’s ok to break fashion “rules”.

Though the weather doesn’t always work in our favor, there is one MUST HAVE that every well dressed Guy should have in their Closet for the Holiday’s—A Tailored Blazer. Whether you’re heading to a Christmas party or to the office you can always count on a blazer to carry you through the season.

I think the thing that I like most about a good blazer is the versatility it allows– you can dress it up or down. Pair it with a pair of trousers, button down and a tie and your ready for the office. But if you want something a little more casual throw on a pair of jeans, and a sweater.

When pulling this look together I followed a few basic style rules—1.) Color 2.) Pattern 3.) Texture. I brought Color AND Pattern in with my Striped sweater from The Gap and texture with the herringbone blazer from Banana Republic. Don’t be afraid to play. Fashion is what you make of it. Confidence goes a long way!

I know you all wondering… Elephant in the room, My New Specs. Tuesday will be a week since I caved and took a trip to the vision center. My eyes have been KILLING me recently since all I do is sit in front of the computer. I tried on probably 30 pairs of glasses and finally settled on these. It kind of gives “Evan the Wedding Planner” a more sophisticated look. I’m still getting used to them, but I should’ve gotten them a long time ago. I’ve gotten tons of compliments and the ladies are climbing all over me. 😉

HUGE Thanks to my sweet Friends Aubrie Lemon for snapping these photos for me! We had such a great time! She made me feel like a was a Calvin Klein Model, just fully clothed! 😉 And Patti Lynn, my hair stylist. I mean look at my hair?!?! She knows how to style some hair y’all!

For those of you who are interested, I posted the links to each piece of my look below! Happy Shopping!
