Labor Day + #makeittwochurch = exhausted EGC

The last few years my Labor day weekend has looked a little like this: 2014-09-03_0002

This year, it had a slightly different look…  2014-09-03_0004 Yup! You guessed it, a wedding! If you follow me on Social Media, you are probably aware that this past weekend was a BIG one, 400 of my closets friends big to be exact. It was such a honor and a privilege to plan Kelsey and Kyle’s special day. We worked our tails off and couldn’t be happier with the end results. Here is a little run down of our weekend caught through the eyes of the iPhone. Enjoy America!

#Makeittwochurch was the VERY FIRST reception to take place in Montgomery’s newest wedding venue, “The Warehouse at Alley Station”. My, my, my is it a beauty. 35ft Ceilings, beautiful exposed brick and original wall panelings… it doesn’t get much better than that. Our day started with a few hiccups, but it wasn’t anything a few phone calls and Dreamland BBQ couldn’t fix.  2014-09-03_0003 As much as I wanted a nap after my BBQ and Diet Coke it was go time now. The girls are finishing up the flowers at the office and Brian and I headed to the warehouse with LOTS AND LOTS of flowers in tow. 2014-09-03_0011  It was time get started tying 4,587,487 chair sashes. Ok, it wasn’t really that many but it sure felt like it. He tried so hard, really he did. Sharon still reigns as the “Bow Hoe”  title holder, though! 2014-09-03_0005

I seriously couldn’t do what I do without a kick butt team. They are THE BEST, and I am so thankful that I get work and laugh along side some crazy talented folks. They make me look good, really good! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Oh, we missed you this weekend Sharon!  2014-09-03_0006 and every successful team takes group selfies, right?  2014-09-03_0007 Thousands of flowers later, long hours and an incredible team of vendors we pulled it off. I think we did a pretty bang up job considering the timelines and deadlines we were working with. Those farmhouse table garlands, might be my favorite, what do you think? 2014-09-03_0008 It’s pretty safe to say I had one happy bride on my hands. Let’s do it again, ok Kels?  2014-09-03_0010 Cake, Popsicles and a vintage car…. YES, YES, YES!!!! Don’t tell Mr. Eddie, but I had 4 popsicles. 😉 2014-09-03_0009 And of course we can’t forget my most favorite part of the night, THE PHOTO BOOTH!!!! I am a photo booth hoe, don’t tell my mother I said that!  2014-09-03_0001 All in all, it was an incredible night/weekend and I am so humbled and honored to have been a part of such a special day for Kyle and Kelsey as they start their new journey together! Thanks again to the Welch’s, Team Evan and Company LOVES YOU!
